for the young, old souls

when i was a little girl, my father and i loved to watch dean martin and jerry lewis movies. and for some reason, this song was embedded in my brain (i only watched it one time). from time to time, i find myself singing it, and wishing that i knew all the words to it. tonight, i found it, and oh how much joy it brought me.

reading update:
i'm over half way through the reader, and i'm finding it a great stuggle to finish, it's a fast read, but it's not keeping my attention, i feel like i can predict what is going to happen. it's a disappointment, because i was expecting it to be moving, and it's not. i've been contemplating moving to another book (but that feels too much like giving up).

i'm looking forward to this week:

getting the oracle together completely will be fantastic and on wednesday, after all my classes are over, i'm going home for Easter; "come hell or high water."

plans for the break:

relearn converting grams into moles into atoms & formula weight
read: a farewell to arms, the english teacher's companion
write: paper on the english teacher's companion
test a student for assessment of learners
write a student profile for assessment of learners
make pillows
spend time with my folks
make myself a birthday cake
